Climbing of Jbel Toubkal – 3-days trek
The Maghreb's highest mountain!

Day 1
Depart of your hotel in Marrakech to reach Imlil village at 5509 ft of altitude.  Meet your mule-drivers and their jennies to start the trek. Mezik’s Pass (8728 ft) will be your first stage to get to the panoramic view over the Mezik’s village, Ait Mizane’s valley and Tazarart’s plateau.  You will cross a juniper and oak trees forest to arrive at Azib Tamsoult (7383 ft) where your night camp will be set. 
4 hours 30 minutes of walking.

Day 2
Gradually, across the great and wild landscapes, you will go up directly to Tzikert’s Pass while looking at the Ighouliden waterfalls which are giving water to the entire Azzaden Valley.  Lunch will be served at this place.  In afternoon, you will reach easily Aguelzim’s Pass (11485 ft) to have your first look at the Toubkal. Descent to the Toubkal refuge at 10500 ft.  Diner and night at this confortable refuge build by the CAF (French Alpine Center). 6 hours 30 minutes of walking.

Day 3 – Climbing of Jbel Toubkal – optional
Awaking at 4 :30AM to have breakfast and to start climbing early to avoid the sun.  It takes about 3 hours to get to the top, it’s a good and hard way up but it’s worthy and satisfying moment to look at Morocco from the top at 13673 ft of altitude. Back to the refuge we will serve your lunch. Way down to Aremd and have a look on the famous marabout of Sidi Chamharouch, who was an holyman revered by local people. Many people are used to come over, mainly women, come for pilgrim. Lovely and easy descent to Aremd (6280 ft) and then Imlil village at 5709 ft of altitude. End of the trek. 9 hours 30 minutes on walking. Back to Marrakech.

Moutain guide, full board, jennies and mule-driver and cooks (4 persons and up).
Recommended : Mountain shoes, raincoat, sleeping bag, survival blanket, frontal lamp, warm clothes, backpack to carry for your personal stuff, scarf, hat, sunglasses and sunblock.
Including transfers Marrakech-Imlil-Marrakech with grand taxi or minibus according to the number of participants.
