Day 1
You will leave Ouarzazate to reach the Skoura Palm
Grove, the Valley
of Roses and the Dades’s
Gorges. Your traditional lunch will be
served on the way to the Todra’s Gorges. Absolutely
beautiful, those gorges look like a red cathedral. Afterwards, you will follow one of the most
luxuriant palm grove in all Morocco
which will lead you to the beautiful dunes of Merzouga (erg Chebbi). The adventure just starts. Riding camels, you will join your
bivouac set in the middle of dunes. Night under the stars after a typical and
copious Moroccan dinner.
Day - 2
Early wake up to look at sunrise. After a good breakfast, let’s drive into the
sand and dry rivers and follow the tracks of Paris-Dakar rally. You will carry
on through palm groves, rock desert and the very old ksar of Tamnougalt. Be
ready to travel through time! This fortress made of clay is hidden in the Drâa Valley. You will taste there some local specialities
before visiting the ksar. On your way
back to Ouarzazate, you will cross the Pass of Tinifift
at 1815 ft
and the black canyons of the Saghro’s Mountains.

The Dunes
Ocean of Ch’Gaga – 2
–days trip
The MUST to-do in Morocco!
Day 1
Through the canyons of the black Saghro Mountains,
you will pass first the city of Tazenakht
and then arrive to Foumzguid the last stop before the deep desert, where you
will have lunch. Back to the track! Back to adventure! All the afternoon is off
road: you will cross rock desert, Iriki’s dry lake, dry rivers and dunes. Along
the dunes, you will certainly have the chance to meet some nomads followed by
their camels. If you have enough time, ask to your driver for a stop to share a
tea with them. You will start to understand what life in the desert is. At the
end of afternoon, you will reach the great dunes of Chegaga where you will find
your night bivouac and where we will provide you real and comfortable beds,
white sheets, towels and sanitary. Copious and delicious traditional diner will be
served.
Folklore and music around the fire.
Day 2
Early wake up to look at the sunrise. You will start the day riding camels
inside the dunes. After breakfast,
your driver will take you to a real oasis where camels, goats and nomads usually
meet around the well. You will reach M’Hamid which is the last village before
Algerian border. Now you are back to civilization and to the road which will
lead you to Tamgrout and it famous potteries and to Zagora and it luxuriant palm
grove. You will stop for lunch and enjoy the comfort of a charming riad and it
swimming pool. Then, you will carry on along the Drâa valley and it huge palm
grove before reaching Agdz, the pass of Tinifift at 1815 ft and the black
canyons of the Saghro
Mountains. In late afternoon, you will be back in
Ouarzazate.
